A Child-fueled creative week

Nothing beats a child-fueled creative session! They want this, this, and this, and oh, they want it now!!

Both of these two things are projects from Kelly Doust's "The Crafty Kid".

The first for a girlfriend's oldest child, Holly - her own personalised pillow.
Made up from scraps of favourite collected fabric, and hand-sewn. (How would you machine-sew this?!) Hopefully she'll like it!

The next project - hand-made felt watches has a funny origin. My son (3), came home from Pre-school and was terribly upset that his best friend had a Ben 10 Watch, and had been showing it off all day. So I got out all my bits and bobs of felt, downloaded some Ben 10 watch images off the internet - and made this up for him. (His favourite colour is orange.)

Not to be out-done, sister Rosa demanded one too, and ended up with a flower garden themed one. Both kids are super happy!
